A change is on the horizon with the law of March 6, 2025, which makes telephone canvassing subject to the consumer's prior consent.

As of today (June 18, 2025), the text is not yet final: an appeal before the Constitutional Council is underway, and any implementing decrees will specify the conditions of interpretation and implementation.
